In the antique/collectible world, they call small objects 'smalls'. Do you have a lot of these dust catchers that you love but don't quite know what to do with? Put them all together on a tray so you can enjoy them and they won't be scattered everywhere. I find I don't notice stuff if it is just one small piece here and there.Most of this stuff has nothing to do with each other, but together they make an interesting group, and a conversation starter.

What a great idea! I definitely have lots of "smalls," many of which I've forgotten are even there. I do have one of my shadowboxes from childhood on the wall in our guestroom, and it displays some of my most favorite really small smalls!
